GEORGES - Helene T. Georges, age 87, of Grand Rapids (formerly of Canadian Lakes), went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 30, 2018. Helene was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Henry; brother, Alex (Lori) Tywlak She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Jack) Meulenberg, Susan (Paul) Trevithick and William (Mary) Georges; grandchildren, Justin, Melissa, Jamie, Katie, Matthew, Harlan, Jeffrey, Stacy, Mila and Elena; great-grandchildren, Henry, Caleb, Ada and Blair. She raised her children in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Helene and Henry built their dream home on the water in Canadian Lakes. The family will greet family and friends at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 8929 50th Avenue, Remus, Michigan on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 12:30 to 2:00 P.M., with the Mass of Christian Burial following at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Fr. Tom Boufford officiating. Interment will be held in St. Michael's Cemetery at 3:00 P.M.
