MILLER - Irving C. Miller, age 62, of Howard City, passed away from complications of leukemia with family at his side on Monday, July 19, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and MaryAnn Miller; son, Andy Miller; and brother-in-law, Grant Rodammer. Irving is survived by his companion, Susan McDaniel; daughter, Alisha (Matt) Kent; granddaughters, Ava and Emma; siblings, Jeff Miller, Dale Miller, Gary (Jean) Miller, Michele (Don Beard) Rodammer; aunts and uncles, Irene (Art) Maycroft, Marilyn (Alex) Arends, Darlene (Larry) Williams, and Bernie (Jeanette) Miller. Irving was employed as a machinist at Williams Form Engineering Corp. for 43 years. In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars, a passion passed down to him from his dad. Irving will be remembered as a loving father. He was always there for his family, who sometimes lovingly referred to him as "Jug Head" as a family insight. The family will receive family and friends at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park, on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary Service at 8:30 p.m., with Deacon Jerry Roersma. The funeral service will be offered at Beuschel Funeral Home on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, officiating Rev. Father Thomas G. Simons.
