Jack L. Swann, age 93 of Comstock Park, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Jack was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on April 22, 1929, the son of Fay Swann and Mary (Walenga) Swann. Jack was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from General Motors. Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Vivienne, in 2017; and his brother, Robert Swann. He will be greatly missed by his children, Roxanne (Wes) Roth and Keith (Judy) Swann; grandchildren, Greg (Ann) Roth, Jim (Christina) Roth, Megan (Andrew) Mull, Emily (Christopher) Risner and Jessica (Kaleb) Yonkers, great-grandchildren, Madilyn, Max, Audy, Olivia, Chloe, Harper, Paisley, Amelia, Hunter (Kate), Wyatt, and Audrey; his great great grandson, Calloway; his sister, Marcia Kennedy; sister-in-law, Gail DuBridge; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Jack's life will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, December 30, 2022 with visitation a hour prior at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park. Pastor Izzy Young from Trinity Congregational Church will be officiating. At the conclusion of the service, Military Honors will be performed under the auspice of the Kent County Veterans Honor Guard. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Holy Trinity Cemetery. The family would like to thank Green Acres of Standale and Emmanuel Hospice for their loving care and compassion given to Jack.
