Obituary

LYNCH - James P. Lynch, age 74, of Comstock Park, entered eternal rest with his family at his side on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Pauline Lynch; brothers and sisters, Bonnie Heaton, Robert Lynch, William Lynch, Casey Lynch, and Helen Dine. Jim is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sylvia; children, Rosemary (John) Anderson, Michael (Pauline) Cassis, Dan (Amy) Lynch, Jim (Shannon) Lynch; sister, Margaret "Muggs" (Joe) Grandy; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He served his country in the National Guard. Jim was an avid golfer and the life of the party. He had a positive outlook on life and was a man of character. Jim was a great father, beloved by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church 1200 Alpine Church Rd., Comstock Park, officiating Rev. Fr. Chris Rouech and under the auspices of the Kent County Veterans Honor Guard. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
