POWERS - James "Jim" W. Powers, age 69, of Comstock Park, formerly of Battle Creek, passed away with his family and friends by his side on Friday, June 19, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Willeta Powers. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Marisel; daughter, Dayne; and siblings, Jack, Joe (Terry), Joanne (Steve) Ridge, Joyce Easey, and Jeannette Easey. Jim was born and raised in Battle Creek. He loved riding his motorcycle and driving his Corvette. Jim was a dedicated family man and devoted to his Church, the Church of Christ in Casnovia. A private graveside service will be held in Banfield Cemetery in Barry County, Michigan. Service Details.
