HANEY - Jerald D. Haney, age 85, of Comstock Park went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Ruth; brothers, Howard, Glenn, Thomas, Oliver and Mary Ann. Jerald is survived by his beloved children, Judith (Craig) Nicholes, Glenn (Joyce) Haney, and Dennis (Julie) Haney; sister, Margaret Devereaux; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He loved spending time at their cabin up north with his family. Jerald also enjoyed puttering outside, cutting and burning wood. A special thank you to the staff at Vista Springs for their good care over the last year. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service celebrating Jerald's life will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, with Rev. Father Thomas G. Simons as celebrant, and under the auspice of the Kent County Honor Guard, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, 6200 Vinton Avenue.
