TEASDALE - Joe Lewis Teasdale Jr., age 69, of Comstock Park, passed away on Veteran's Day: Wednesday, November 11, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents Joe Lewis Teasdale Sr. and Sarah Lucille Hartsfield; step-father Carl Henry Williamson; and brother Olen Paul Williams. He is survived by his wife Donna Teasdale; children Rebecca (Mike) Cutler, Jessie Teasdale, Carl (Danielle) Teasdale, Tracy (Tim) Rozela, Donald (Kandilyn) Rozela, and Katherine (Jacob) Rozela; 23 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and extended family. Joe greatly enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed watching movies, specifically history and western movies. Joe was a Vietnam veteran who served in the U.S. Marines from 1969 to 1979. The family will receive friends and family at the Beuschel Funeral Home on Saturday, November 14, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. under the auspice of the Kent County Veteran's Honor Guard and the Patriot Guard. For his sacrifice and bravery in Vietnam, Joe will be honored by being laid to rest at Fort Custer Cemetery. Service Details.
