MULL - John "Hank" Mull Jr, age 91, of Comstock Park, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 30, 2017. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Tula Mull; brothers, Ray, Delos, Bob and Floyd "Butch" Mull. Hank is survived by his beloved children, John (Shirley) Mull, Cindy (Harold) Curtis, Carol (Jerry) Smedley; grandchildren, Stacey (Rick) Kraft, Amy (Brian) McIver and Jake Saxton; four great grandchildren; siblings, Jim and Joan Mull, Jean Scribner, and Jane and Don Huizenga; in-laws, Robert and Helen Sabin, Ron and Ellen Sabin, Barb and Ken Bylsma, and Neil and Denise Sabin; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Hank was Post Commander at the American Legion Post 47. As a board member he was very instrumental in initiating the fish dinners, the golf league and the wall of fame at the American Legion Post 47. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park, for visitation, at 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., on Wednesday, July 5, 2017. The Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 11:30 A.M., with visitation one hour prior to the service, at Faith Lutheran Church, 2740 Fuller Avenue N.E., Grand Rapids, with Pastor Kevin Sullivan, as celebrant and under the auspice of Kent County Veterans Honor Guard. Inurnment will be held at 3:00 P.M., at Alpine Pine Grove Cemetery, 6200 Vinton Avenue, Comstock Park. Please consider memorial contributions to Faith Lutheran Church, in memory of Hank.
