UMLOR - John Umlor, age 76, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 13, 2016. He is preceded in death by his mother, Marcia Umlor; sister, Sharon (Leonard) Nicholson; brother, Marvin (JoAnn) Umlor and granddaughter, Bridgette Devine. John is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Donna; beloved children, Melanie Umlor, Shannon (Frederick) Stanley, and Kevin (Bobbie) Umlor; brothers and sisters, Char (Jack) Baude, Tom (Sharon) Umlor and Mary Umlor; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. John was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus for 50 years. John was a self-employed truck driver and later retired from Burns Brothers Produce. He enjoyed fishing and trips to Arizona. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior at Holy Family Church in Sparta with Rev. Msgr. Terrence L. Stewart as celebrant. Interment will be at a later date at Solon Township Cemetery.
