PICKART - Joyce Ruth Pickart, age 57, of Comstock Park, MI passed away peacefully with her family at her side Friday, August 12, 2011. She was preceded in death by parents Owen and Elenora McCain, brother John McCain, and Father-in-Law Walter N. Pickart. Joyce is survived by her loving husband, Tim Pickart, sons Jonathan Pickart of Crystal Falls,MI, Mark 'Fish' Pickart and daughter Sarah Pickart of Comstock Park,MI. Also survived by her Mother-in-law Beverly Pickart, brother Charles (Theresa) McCain, sisters Karen Vanderbosch and Shirley (Max) Lance, Bothers-in-Law Dan (Donna) Pickart, Dave (Diana) Pickart, John (Julie) Pickart, Sister-in-Law Lisa Daniel, and many nieces and nephews. Joyce recently completed her 10th year of teaching Life Skills at Rockford High School. Prior to moving to Michigan Joyce worked 20+ years as the Cafeteria Manager at Gary National Bank (Gainer Bank) in Northwest Indiana. Member of Peace Lutheran Chuch, Sparta, MI. Committee Member and Merit Badge counselor for Boy Scout Troop 223, Comstock Park, MI. The Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, August 17th at 11am with visitation one hour prior at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Bryan Schneider-Thomas officating, 1225 12 Mile Road, Sparta, MI. Visitation will be 2 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Ave., Comstock Park, MI 49321.In Lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to Peace Lutheran Church.
