Mrs. Judith Anne Raap, age 69 of Kent City, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021. She was born September 23, 1952, in Grand Rapids, to Joseph and Geraldine Skowron. Judith married George A. Raap on January 22, 1972, in Sparta, Michigan and he survives her. She spent her time as a homemaker, after working in the deli at Houseman Foods. Judith enjoyed needle work knitting, crocheting, bird feeding and reading the Condensed Reader's Digest. Judith is survived by her husband, George; children, Jenny Erffmeyer, Laura (Greg Timmer) Raap, Christy (Mark) Veltkamp and George (Heidi) Raap; fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Judith was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Valerie Kleinjans; and brother, Joseph Skowron. The Funeral Service for Judith will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 10:30 am at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Interment will be in Idlewild Cemetery.
