WOZNIAK (CARRIS-ALT), JULIE ANNA, age 52, of Alpine Township, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 21, 2016. She endured a lengthy battle with sugar diabetes, including 15 years on kidney dialysis. Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Marlene (Alt) Carris. She is survived by her aunts and uncles, Kathleen (Wayne) Jones, Carl (Bonnie) Alt, Nobert (Sue) Alt and Phyllis (Larry) Berryhill; cousins and friend Ken Swanson. Julie was a very generous person, and had a positive outlook on life even with all of her health issues. She enjoyed playing bingo and had a great love for animals. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue N.W., Comstock Park, on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 10:00 to noon, with a Rosary Service at 10:30 a.m., with Deacon Jerry Roersma. The Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 p.m., at the funeral home, with Rev. Father Dick Host. Julie had a great sense of humor and a good relationship with the staff at the Sanctuary of St. Mary's Living Center; the family would like to extend a special thank you for their care. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery. In memory of Julie, please consider donations to the Kidney Dialysis Foundation.
