HUNT - June Hunt, age 90, of Comstock Park, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 9, 2016. She was preceded in death by her son, Herbert Hunt; parents, Gardner and Mabel Post; brothers, Herbert Post, Richard (Ilene) Post, and Jackie Post. June is survived by her sisters, Starling Post, Mabel (Travers) Roe; daughter-in-law, Sue Hunt; grandchildren, Nicole (Chris) Pierson and Ryan (Sandra) Hunt; great-granddaughters, Alexis Pierson, Reese Pierson, Adrianna Pierson, Ryleigh Hunt and Sadie Hunt, many nieces, nephews and relatives. June was a graduate of Creston High School. She dedicated her time to teaching her class of 4 and 5-year-old children at Alpine Baptist Church and enjoyed completing mailings for Continental Baptist Missions. June enjoyed her early years spent at the farm, she looked forward to the gatherings with extended family at her home on Half Moon Lake, and has enjoyed the senior life at Rest Haven. Her sister, Star, was a constant friend and companion throughout her life. She looked forward to her visits from her relatives from California: Mabel, Mark, Beki, Brooke and Autumn. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Alpine Baptist Church, with Pastor Doug Compton officiating, with visitation held one hour prior.
