PIENTA - Karen L. Pienta, age 73, of Sparta, went to be with Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 16, 2020. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Pienta Sr. of 46 years; brother Dennis Rector, parents Raymond and Nancy Rector. Karen is survived by her children, David, Jr. (Jamie) Pienta, Ronald (Sandra) Pienta of Atlanta, GA., Christina (Douglas) Bacon, Michael Pienta, Sharon (Mike) Emery, Rick (Linda) Rector, David (Diane) Rector, Cindy (Mike) Johns, Dave (Denise) Hiemstra; sister-in-law, Kathy Rector; special friend, Lee Kenyon; 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was a passionate mom, grandma, and had a gift to care about all the people she came in contact with. She gave her unconditional love to all. Karen loved her family and friends dearly. Karen's deep faith in Christ was expressed not only in words but within her actions. She always put others before herself. Karen was a giver and was proud to tell you that you cannot outgive a giver. A private visitation will be held Friday, May 22, 2020, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Beuschel Funeral Home 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park. A private service will be held at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor R. Lee Buer, officiating. Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery. A celebration of Karen's life will be held at a later date.
