Kathryn Marie (McKelligott) Gordon, age 86, of Comstock Park, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2026. She was born June 11, 1939, in Northampton, Massachusetts to the late Francis and Mary (Foley) McKelligott. Kathryn married the love of her life, Douglas Gordon on November 21, 1962. Together they raised their three children and celebrated 55 years of marriage before Doug passed away on September 1, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug; her parents; her sister and brother-in-law, John and Mary Jean Devine of Hadley, Massachusetts; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Martha (Miller) Gordon of Loves Park, Illinois; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Don and Wilma (Gordon) Betts of Racine, Wisconsin; and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joel and Marcella "Marcy" Gordon of Beloit Wisconsin.

Kathryn enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, animals, and her independence.

Survivors include her children, Jeffrey (Paula) Gordon, Kristine (Gary) Hayes, and Elizabeth Gordon; grandchildren, Emily Hippensteel, Carmen Hayes, Elijah Hayes, Alecia Hayes, and Gwendolyn Hayes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Per Kathryn's request, cremation has taken place, and a family service and internment will be held in the Village of Onekama Cemetery, 1146 Erdman Road, Onekama Michigan 49675.
