Kay Rose Breen, age 84 of Sparta, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, February 24, 2023. Kay was born on November 29, 1938 in Muskegon, Michigan, the daughter of Edward and Inez (Young) Maclam. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Breen on September 6, 2000; her parents; her sister, Vicki Shrum; and grandson, Kevin Wilson. Kay is survived by her children, Dalynn (Ken) Wilson, Timothy (Jeanette) Jones, and Patti Clark; siblings, Vera Ami, and Clark Maclam; along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Kay loved to teach, read, cook, craft, shop, garden, and spend quality time with those she loved. Kay will be deeply missed by her friends and family, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. A private graveside service will be held at Fairplains Cemetery in Sparta, Michigan.
