Kenneth Guy Lillie Jr., age 83, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at his home surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his son, David Lillie; sister, Diane Paratore. Ken is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty; daughter, Diane (Roger) Schmidt; son, Roy (Dawn) Stiles; grandchildren, Arika Schmidt, Kaila (Jess) Stevens, Samantha Schmidt, Takoda (Hannah) Schmidt; great grandchildren, Lillie, Edison, and Elliott Schmidt; sister, Jacqueline Brewer; many nieces and nephews. Ken was a member of Gideons International and enjoyed his West River Drive McDonald's coffee group several times a week. He was proud to have served in the Navy for almost 9 years. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 10:00 am at Calvary Church, 707 East Beltline Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI. Friends and relatives may meet the family at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Ave NW, Comstock Park, MI on Friday, December 8, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Interment Blythefield Memory Gardens.
