LAMOS - Kyle Andrew Lamos, age 19, of Rockford, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 26, 2017. Kyle was preceded in death by his, great-grandparents, Kyle's name-sake, Andrew (Rose) Snider; grandparents, Betty Lamos, Earline Mattson and William Haralson. He is survived by his parents, Don and Janice Lamos; siblings, Stephanie, Brittany (Jake) Spoolstra, and Alicia; grandparents, Jean Haralson and Richard Mattson; aunts, uncles and cousins. Kyle graduated from with honors from Rockford High School in 2016 and then attended Grand Rapids Community College and participated as a scholar athelet, with the intention of completing his physical therapy degree at Michigan State University. He participated as a captain of the cross country team and ran track at Rockford High School and continued with cross-country at Grand Rapids Community College. Kyle enjoyed ice hockey, swimming, boating, skiing, snowboarding, road and mountain biking, badminton and volleyball. He loved camping at Ludington State Park and sitting in the sand dunes. Kyle had a kind soul, a big smile and an easy going demeanor. He was everyone's buddy, but especially his cousin Joshua. His ultimate act of kindness was being a Gift for Life Donor. The family will receive family and friends at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 4865 11 Mile Road N.E., Rockford, on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with a Rosary offered at 8:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, at Our Lady of Consolation Church, with Rev. Father Anthony Russo officiating. Interment will be in Courtland Township Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to the Kyle Lamos Scholarship Fund, through Lake Michigan Credit Union from the Aceflamos (Golden Runner) for the Rockford Cross Country Team.
