Lanora "Norie" (Lonnee) Christiansen, age 99, of Comstock Park, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Virgil; sons, Gary and Dale; grandson, Kaal; great-grandson, Aiden Christiansen; brother, Raymond "Bub" Lonnee; brothers-in-law, Chuck Courtade, Alvin May; her beloved sister, Evelyn May. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cheryl Christiansen, Diane (Jerry) Ronda, Nancy (Marv Ayers) Christiansen; her grandchildren, David (Rowena), Lori, Roy (Bret), Bryan (Jessica), Scott (Jennifer), Jack (Ivy) Christiansen, Julie Christiansen, Mark (Courtney), Craig Ronda; 15 great-grandchildren; many loved nieces and nephews; sister, Betty Courtade who is left to carry on the extraordinary pie baking skills that the Lonnee girls were blessed with. Lanora was known for her beautiful flower gardens that were admired by many, her wonderful sense of humor, and her kindness and generosity she showed to everyone. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 27, 2022 Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue NW, Comstock Park with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Burial Pine Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 4-7 p.m. and also on Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
