Linda M. McDowell, age 72, of Comstock Park, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Florence (William) Antor; and brother, Marvin (Jean) Host. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Martin; her sisters, Eleanor (Kenneth) Estes and Erma Armock; brother, Kyle (Brinda) Host; stepson, Martin (Sarah) McDowell; stepdaughter, Melissa (Douglas) Morss; and stepdaughter, Brenda (Roy) Kenyon. Linda attended Holy Trinity Catholic School and graduated from West Catholic High School, Class of 1966. She went on to have a successful career working as a produce manager for Eberhard's Grocery, now Spartan Stores, until her retirement. Linda found great joy in flower gardening, crafting and cooking; she will always be remembered for her pasta salads, popcorn balls, fudge and Christmas baking. Her other great joy was spending time babysitting her grandnieces. A faithful Catholic all her life, Linda was a devoted parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where she received all of her sacraments. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1200 Alpine Church Road NW, Comstock Park, on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., with con-celebrants Rev. Fr. Thomas G. Simons and Rev. Fr. Dick Host presiding. Internment will take place at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.
