VITA, LOIS M. (SCHWEITZER) - Lois M. Vita (Schweitzer) age 61, of Comstock Park, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2015. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Vint and (Veronica) Connie Schweitzer. She is survived by her loving sons, Tim (Whitney) and Josh (Carrie) Vita; precious grandchildren, Sophie, Titus, McKenzie, Madelyn and Camden; two brothers and four sisters; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Lois focused her life on Jesus Christ and deeply loved her family. She served in the United States Navy and the Coast Guard for five years. Lois, an avid player of Scrabble; was a hero and example of strength in her life and through her fight against stupid cancer. The family will greet family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., with the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m, with Rev. Father Thomas Simons as celebrant, and under the auspice of the Kent County Veterans Honor Guard. Inurnment will be held at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
