MEYER - Loren H. Meyer, age 77, of Grand Rapids, MI., was whisked to heaven to be with his Lord and Savior early Sunday, August 26, 2012. Loren is survived by his wife, Petronella Meyer, daughters, Lorrie (Thad) Ide, Lonna (Tim) Van Ast, Lynee Brinks, son, Loren M. (Paige) Meyer, eight grandchildren, brother, Stanley (Dorothy) Meyer, and sister, Pauline (Ron) Siegersma. Loren's legacy was his children, and his grandchildren. He was a lifelong piano and organ teacher who was an accomplished musician. Loren held positions at numerous churches throughout his life, most recently White Cloud Methodist Church and Trinity Lutheran Church. He was very passionate about his faith in God, service and devotion to the Church. Loren loved the students he taught and being in nature. The family will receive visitors at the Beuschel Funeral Home 5018 Alpine Avenue Comstock Park on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior at Trinity Lutheran Church 1351 Harding Street Conklin, with Pastor Mark Oswald as celebrant.
