THOMAS - Louis "Lou" Thomas Jr., age 89, of Comstock Park, went to be with Jesus Christ on Thursday, January 7, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Patricia "Pat" Thomas; parents, Oliver and Zella Labbe; brother, George Thomas; in-laws, Lawrence and Maude Wilson; and brother-in-law, James Wilson. He is survived by his beloved sons, Michael Thomas, Louie Thomas and Dave Thomas; grandchildren, Tricia, David "Matty", Alexandra "Missy", Zachary, Melissa, Sara, Michael and great-grandchild, Keaton; dearest family, Shelly; cousins, Pat and Marv; many nieces and nephews. Pat and Lou were founders and owners of Lou's Ignition and Sunoco Gas Station on Alpine Avenue. After Lou sold his businesses he worked as a real estate agent for Westdale Realty. They enjoyed many friends for 30 years in Naples, Florida and loved their home there. He was also involved in race cars at Grand Rapids Speedrome and Berlin Raceway.
