NORTON - Lucille "Lollie" M. (Zahm) Norton, age 82, of Sparta, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Beatrice Zahm; and siblings, Betty (James) Harmon and Tom Zahm. Lollie is survived by her children, Lori (Dan) Newberg, Brenda Weronko, William "Bill" (Dana) Norton, and Angie (Ron) Ditmar; grandchildren, Carrie Newberg (Jason), Scott Newberg, Andy (Kristen) Burleson, Addie (Fritz III) Wahlfield, Tyler (Ariela) Norton, Jeff (Jen) Ditmar, David (Tracy) Ditmar, Sarah (Jeremy) Scherlink, Chelsey (Austin) Weber and Kendra York; 23 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ben Zahm, and Jean (Dave) Woycik; sister-in-law, Diane Zahm; and many nieces and nephews. Lollie graduated from the Sparta High School Class of 1957. She was a strong willed, passionate, feisty, generous, opinionated and loving woman when it came to her family and especially her grandchildren. Lollie enjoyed making memories as she hosted her family during Sparta Town and Country Days each year. The family will receive relatives and friends at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park, Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. with Deacon Ed Harwood. The funeral service will be at the Beuschel Funeral Home on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior, with Rev. Fr. Philip Shangraw presiding.
