UTIC - Lynette R. Utic, age 91, of Grand Rapids (formerly of Lansing), went to her Heavenly family in the arms of Jesus Christ on Monday, April 20, 2015. Lynette was predeceased by beloved husband of 62 years, Donald E. Utic; father and mother, Ernest and Marguerite (Kleist) Garrity. She is survived by her children, Christine (Kris) Hoover, Steven (Cynthia) Utic, Deborah (Gary) Gerhard, and Dree (Bryan) Purcell; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Lynette was raised in Portage, Wisconsin and graduated from Northwest College of Nursing in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She moved to Los Angeles, California where she was employed at Good Samaritan Hospital; before becoming a full time homemaker. The Celebration of Lynette's life will be celebrated on Monday, May 4 at 10:30 a.m., at Holland Home Fulton Manor Chapel, 1450 Fulton Street, Grand Rapids, with Rev. Harvey Kiekover as celebrant, and with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be held at Deepdale Cemetery in Lansing, Michigan. In memory of Lynette, please consider donations to Holland Home.
