COOPER - Marcia Dee (Bak) Cooper, age 65, of Grand Rapids, passed away surrounded by her loving family, and went to be with her Heavenly Father after a courageous battle of cancer, on Sunday, August 12, 2018. Marcia is survived by her beloved family, sisters, Joyce (Glenn) Haney and Maureen (Dave) Lutke; brother, Pete (Jodi Prince Droski) Bak, nieces and nephews, Cory Jones, Josh (Krystal) Haney, Chris Haney, Ashley Bak, P.J. Bak and Aaron Bak; great-nieces and nephews, Tyler Sikkes, Brooklyn Haney, Devin Haney and Dominik Haney; she also has several aunts, uncles and cousins and friends in both the United States and in the Netherlands. Marcia was employed and retired from the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans, as a very caring LPN. She loved gardening, sewing, arts, crafts and reading. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 9:00 - 11:00 A.M., with the funeral service celebrating Marcia's life following at 11:00 A.M., at the funeral home, with Pastor Dale Kleinheksel, officiating. Interment will be held in Floral View Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 2:00 P.M.
