Marcia Lee Curtis, age 81, of Sparta, MI, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on March 12, 1941 to David and Louise (Martens) Smith. Marcia was a graduate of South Christian High School in Grand Rapids, MI. She was a homemaker and had held various positions in restaurants. Marcia enjoyed the outdoors and spending time at the cottage at Cobb Lake. Her grandchildren were the love of her life and she enjoyed helping out with them. Marcia is survived by her children, Roberta Rowe, David (Robin) Tatroe, Sylvia (Bruce) Billings; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Wagenvelt; one daughter in law, Leslie Melle. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Mike Melle, and her sister, Paula Smith. The Funeral Service for Marcia will be held Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Beuschel Funeral Home, with Pastor Fred Van Oeffelen officiating.
