WALDHERR - Marcia Jean (Swanson) Waldherr, of Kent City, lived a happy, faith filled life over her 88 years. She raised five children, nurtured and cared for twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on August 10, 1930 and passed away at home on August 5, 2019 surrounded by her children who loved her dearly and will miss her loving, tender ways. Marcia enjoyed baking, watching and caring for her backyard, feathered friends and most of all spending time with her family. She was content in her final days and ready to be united with the Lord. Marcia was preceeded in death by her loving husband, Carl, of thirty-six years. She is survived by her brother, Jack (Marge) Swanson; her children, Catherine (David) Waldherr-D'Amour, Cindy Roadifer, Sandra (Bob) Sarachman, Tom (Tracy) Waldherr, Pam (Kevin) Brown. A heartfelt thank you to Luanne Hill and Terri Cegalis who provided tender loving care in her final days. Visitation will take place at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Marcia's life will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 425 South State Street, Sparta on Friday, August 9, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Msgr. Terrance L. Stewart as celebrant. Private internment will be at Idlewild Cemetery. The family would like to thank Younga with Faith Hospice for the special care she provided.
