ROBERTS, MARCUS WAYNE, age 57, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 22, 2016. Marcus is survived by his wife of 17 years, Charlie (Hollman) Roberts; son, Anthony (Gilda) James Romero Roberts; daughters, Felicia Roberts and Michelle (Nicholas) Roberts; step-children, Jessica (Jeremiah) Daly, Joe (Laura) Daly, Tom Daly, and T.J. (Sam) Daly; mother, Evelyn (Phillips) Roberts; sisters, Wanda (Tim) Smart, Donna Roberts, Lynn (Mark) Rabel, Sheryl Roberts (Chris Antwine); sisters-in-law, Cindy Roberts and Susan Krieger; brothers-in-law, Thomas Hollman and David Hollman; grandchildren, Ethan Romero, Leila Romero, Aidan Romero, Zoey Arreola, Jackson Gasser, Madison Young, Landon Young and Stella Daly. Marcus was preceded in death by his father, Virgle Roberts; and brother, Virgle Dale Roberts. Marcus served our country in the United States Army for 20 years. He had a good sense of humor and had a way of making people laugh. Marcus had a tremendous love for his children and grandchildren. The family will greet family and friends on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue NW, Comstock Park. The memorial service to celebrate Marcus's life will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor James Durr from Bristolwood Church and under the auspice of the Kent County Veterans Honor Guard.
