HEINBECK - Marian May Heinbeck, age 91, of Comstock Park, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Faith Hospice, Trillium Woods. She was born May 1, 1925 in Marne, Michigan to Harry and Inez (Fleming) Bresnahan. On June 5, 1948 Marian married Frederick (Fritz) Heinbeck at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Marne. They were blessed with five children and lived their entire lives on the Heinbeck farm in Alpine Township. Marian was a hairdresser in her early adult life, spent many years working on the farm with her family, but also enjoyed her job at McDonalds on Alpine where she served many people who considered her a friend. Marian was preceded in her passing from this life to the next by her beloved "Freddie"; her parents; siblings, Jean (Jack) Weinand, Mike Bresnahan and Jack Bresnahan; and sisters-in-law, Lucille Heinbeck and Norraine (Joe) Fix. Marian is survived by her children, Ron (Cindy) Heinbeck, Michael (Mary) Heinbeck, Patrick Heinbeck and twins, Cathy (Ted) Allen and Fred Heinbeck. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren: Jason (Stephanie) Heinbeck, Andy (Anita) Heinbeck, Elizabeth Heinbeck and fiancée Kyle Evans, Kristen (Jeff) Swendrowski, John (Cristin) Heinbeck, David (Amanda) Heinbeck, Sarah Allen, Angela (Todd) VerDuin, Melissa Stachowiak, and Heather Baehre. She is also survived by her 15 great-grandchildren with two more on the way: Kaylin, Zoe, Caleb, Fritz, Olivia, Brandon, Andrea, Jaden, Zachary, Clayton, Sawyer, Elmae, Charlie, Matilda and Wesley. Marian was also a beloved aunt to her niece and nephew, Roxy and Jack (Fawn) Wienand and to Jack and Fawn's children, Bruce and Shelby; sister-in-law, Patricia Smith. For the past 14 years, Marian had dementia and was cared for by her family in her home until these final two weeks of her life. In spite of her illness, Marian retained her quick wit and sense of humor. Thanks goes to Angel Care (especially Victoria), Hope Network Side by Side, and Trillium Woods who assisted the family with care and therapy. Family and Friends can pay their respects and meet Marian's family at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 3 to 7 PM and one hour prior to the funeral service. The Rosary Service will be held at 6:30 PM with, Deacon Jerry Roersma as celebrant. The Funeral Mass of Christian burial celebrating Marian's life will be at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1200 Alpine Church Road on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM with, Rev. Father Thomas G.
