Marilyn Elaine (Bennett) Long passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024, into heaven in the Lord's arms after living a very complete and full life. She has now reunited with her beloved Don and is at peace. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donna and Hobart Bennett; husband, Donald Long; twin infant grandsons, Ryan and Adam Long; and her son-in-law, Steve Frozley. Marilyn is survived by her son, Greg (Dawn) Long; her daughter, Carolyn Frozley; grandchildren, Kyle (Morgan) Frozley, Max Frozley, Brendan Long and Allie Long. Marilyn had a zest for life and loved to be sociable. She was a loving and devoted mother and an unbelievable grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with all her grandkids, playing board games and cards and never missed a sporting or school event. Marilyn was a cheerleader in high school and kept that energetic, spunky personality throughout her whole life. She enjoyed many weekends in the summer with her husband, family and many friends up at their cottage on Big Bass Lake. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family and many special friends. A visitation will be held at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Ave NW, Comstock Park, MI on Friday, November 29 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and Saturday, November 30 at 10:00 am until the Celebration of Life for Marilyn begins at 11:00 am.
