VANMALSEN - Marjorie "Marge" A. (Read) VanMalsen, age 92, of Grand Rapids, went into the arms of Jesus Christ on Saturday, August 5, 2017. Marge is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Lawrence; and brother, William Read; and daughter in law Barb VanMalsen. She is survived by her children, Janice (Lee) Bullock, James (Barb) VanMalsen, and Shirley Anderson; six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Marge is a graduate of Union High School. She had a love of music and delighted in her grandchildren's talents. Marge sang in the Church choir for many years. The celebration of Marge's life will be offered on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park, with Pastor Rick Kiekintveld from Stonebridge Manor officiating, with visitation 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the Beuschel Funeral Home.
