TENBRINK - Marjorie (Margie) A. TenBrink, of Kent City, age 87, passed away on her birthday, Monday, June 24, 2013 after a short illness. Marjorie is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, William; sons, Randolph (Marie), Timothy (Sue), John (Debra); daughters, Catherine (Tom) Thorne, Collene (Ofelio) Alvarado; 17 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Darlene Thomas, Carolyn (Ray) Berg, Francis Shanahan; sister in-law, Hazel Gilde; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and enjoyed the many family get togethers, especially during the holidays. Marjorie enjoyed traveling and the winters spent in Florida with her many friends. She was an avid golfer and had a love for jewelry, music and The Fighting Irish. She was a long time member of Trinity Congregational Church and served on many boards over the years. Relatives and friends may meet at the Beuschel Funeral Home 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park for visitation on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. The celebration of Marjorie's life will be offered on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 10:00 a..m., with Pastor James DeWitt officiating, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Trinity Congregational Church 2725 4 Mile Road NW, 49544 near Peach Ridge.
