CVANCIGER - Mark E. Cvanciger, age 59, of Sparta, passed away on Thursday May 23, 2019 with his loving family by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Cvanciger; father-in-law Bub (Richard) Antor, and brother-in-law, Paul Krupp. Mark is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Karen; beloved children, Cody (Monica) and Tyler (Fiancé Cassidy); sisters, Sherry (Charles) Pinkerman, Lisa (Glen) Layton; brother, Jeffrey (Brenda); sisters-in-law, Nancy Krupp, Barb (Harry) Huffman; brother-in-law, Ron (Mary) Antor; and his mother-in law, Jean (Velma) Antor, and his nieces and nephews. Mark proudly worked for the Kent County Road Commission for 30 years. He loved his work and the people he worked alongside. Mark was also a loyal fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Through the best of times and the worst of times, some of Mark's favorite memories involved cheering on his favorite teams to victory, and going to the family cottage. Visitation with family and friends will take place at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Tuesday, May 28 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 8:30 p.m. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 29 at 3:30 p.m. at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 6390 Belmont Avenue, NE, Belmont with Rev. Father Tony Pelak as celebrant.
