ALT - Marvin "Marv" Marcus Alt, age 85, of Alpine Township, entered into eternal rest surrounded by his family on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. He is preceded in death by his twin brother, Martin Alt. Marv is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Rosie; beloved children, Ken (Patty) Alt, Janice (Dan) Lillibridge and Steve (Deirdre) Alt; grandchildren, Matt (Kasie) Alt, Alicia (Chris) Gould, Amanda (Joe) Stehouwer, Emily (Kyle) Bliss, Anthony Alt, Nate (Jamie) Lillibridge, Andrew (Alyssa) Alt, David (Mandy) Alt and Brittney (Cory) Oom; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Jim (Pat) Alt, Doris (Larry) Clark and Tom (Sandy) Alt; many nieces, nephews and brother-in-laws, Vince (Betty), Herb (Dianna), Dennis (Diane) and Phil (Dorothy) Brown. He was a life time farmer and member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Marv was born and lived in the same farm house for 85 years on Stage Avenue. Along with his wife Rosie they wintered in Florida, in their motor home for many years. He enjoyed fishing, drinking with his buddies, playing cards and was a member of the Sparta Moose Lodge. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary Service at 7:30 p.m. with Deacon Ed Harwood. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 10:30 a.m., with visitation one hour prior at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Wright Township, with Rev.
