RAUSER- Mary Josephine Rauser, age 74, of Alpine Township, entered into eternal rest with her family at her side on Monday, April 6, 2020 the day of her mother Caroline's birthday. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Caroline Alt; sister, Carole Alt; brother, Mike Alt; sister-in-law, Beverly Alt; and brother-in-law, Fred Erhards. Mary Jo will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 52 years, Gary; her children, Amy (Michael) Pischner, Jeff (Jennifer) Rauser, and Todd (Kerri) Rauser; grandchildren, Krista (Dustin) Coon, Nicole Pischner, Kelsey Pischner, Jonathon Pischner, Anna Rauser, Justin Rauser, Hayley Rauser and Jordyn Rauser; siblings, Tom Alt, Joe (Dorothy) Alt Jr., Dave (Pat) Alt, Dan (Beth) Alt, Marcia (Bob) Spruit and Cindy (Mike) Hoogewind; sister-in-laws, Judy (Roger) Abbott, Barb Erhards; many nieces and nephews. Mary Jo was much loved and appreciated by her family and many friends to whom she so generously gave her heart and energy. She was a proud supporter of the family farm, especially during harvest time, and worked at Sparta Fruit Storage. Mary Jo enjoyed being outdoors with a passion for gardening, hunting, fishing, golfing, bonfires and fond memories of crafting for many years. The family wishes to thank St. Ann's Home and Emmanuel Hospice for their compassionate care and support. Mary Jo was a life long member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. A private visitation will be held Thursday, April 16 and Friday, April 17, 2020 at the Beuschel Funeral Home. A private burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Rosedale Memorial Park with Deacon Jerry Roersma presiding.
