Obituary

Mary Kay Miller, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Born on Monday, September 19, 1932 to Anthony and Lillian Burch. Mary loved unconditionally and dedicated her life to her family and her faith.

Mary found joy and fulfillment in the simple pleasures of life, ensuring that her family was always her priority. As a devoted homemaker, she was the cornerstone of countless family gatherings, always hosting dinners and picnics, and she never forgot a single birthday or anniversary, making sure each card arrived right on time. Her unwavering love and kindness touched everyone and her absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew her.

Mary's life was a testament to perseverance and independence. Despite never having driven a day in her life, she walked everywhere, embodying strength and resilience. She was a constant source of support and care, always there for others.  Mary lived a life marked by love, generosity, and unwavering commitment to her family. Her kindness was a beacon of light. Mary was a longtime parishioner of SS Peter & Paul Church, where her faith guided her life. She prayed for her family every night.

Mary was preceded in death by her former husband, Daniel E. Miller Sr.; son, Mark P. Miller; son-in-law, Patrick J. Horning; her siblings, June (Carl) Jarosch, Paul (Dorothy) Burch, Robert (Betty) Burch, and Anthony (Nancy) Burch. She is survived by her children, Daniel E.
