Maureen Denise Sternburg (Camling), age 58, of Comstock Park, MI passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Bernice Camling. Maureen is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Steve; daughter, Emily; brothers, Tim (Janet) Camling, Tom (Stefanie) Camling, Bob (Melissa) Camling, Ken (Candace) Camling; sisters, Kathleen Petroelje, Theresa (Troy) Davis; many nieces and nephews. Maureen was in a serious car accident in 2001 but she never let that stop her. Family was very very important to her, whom she loved to be around, especially her daughter, Emily, who was everything to her. Holidays were her favorite time of year, showing her nieces and nephews love by making them gift baskets. She especially loved to decorate for Halloween and Christmas. She also enjoyed watching the birds. Maureen was a long time parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1200 Alpine Church Rd NW, Comstock Park, MI where a Mass of the Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, June 28, 11:00 AM. Maureen will lie in state at church one hour prior to the mass starting at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends may meet the family for a visitation on Thursday, June 27 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Ave NW, Comstock Park, MI. Interment Hilton Cemetery, Casnovia, MI. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Maureen's honor to Coalition Protecting Auto No Fault, www.cpan.us or Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
