Obituary

BOYD - Maxwell Dallas Boyd, age 87, of Comstock Park, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus Christ in Florida on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents Dallas and Ella Boyd, twin sister Maxine Boyd, sister Imogene Stroven and brother Gordon Boyd. Maxwell is survived by his loving wife of almost 64 years, Juanita Boyd; children, Maxine (Edward) Tromp, Elaine (Thomas) Tainter, Wayne (Denise) Boyd; brothers, Edward (Rosemary) Boyd, Robert Boyd, Perry (Mary) Boyd, Donald (Peggy) Boyd; sisters, Patricia (Micheal) Bennett, Peggy (Ralph) Frick; 13 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. Maxwell proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed farming and was employed and retired from Knape & Vogt. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m. The Service of Praise and Thanksgiving of Maxwell's life will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, at Alpine Baptist Church, 692 7 Mile Road N.W., Comstock Park, with Pastor Doug Compton officiating, and under auspices of the Kent County Veterans Honor Guard. Interment will be follow Saturday at 2:30pm in Hillside Cemetery Grant, MI. Please consider a donation in memory of Maxwell, to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. First Visitation
