Obituary

REID - Meghan Lee Reid, age 23, of Comstock Park, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Sunday, October 30, 2016. Meghan is preceded in death by her father, George Reid, grandparents, William Wildern III and Joseph and Kathryn Reid. She is survived by her mother, Molly Reid; sister, Michaela Reid; brother, George Reid II; step-father, Doug Chapman; grandmother, Katherine Bradley; niece, Serenitii VandenBerg; aunts and uncles, Eileen (Dan) Wildern, Bill (Nicole) Wildern IV, Melanie (Joe) Gerzema, John (Laura) Wildern, Joe (Jerry) Reid, Pat (Robin) Reid, Jay (Gerry) Gilroy, Susan (Phil) Few, Robert (Cindy) Reid, Michael Reid, Barb (Doug) Schwentor, Kathy (Tim) Day, Brian (Mary) Reid, Kevin Reid, Karen Reid, many loving cousins and several dear friends from near and far, including Patty Reid, Tamara Reid Tabor and Karen Reid. Meghan graduated from Holy Trinity Catholic School in 2007 and is a 2011 graduate of Kenowa Hills High School. She was successfully employed in the hospitality industry. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, November 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with Rev. Father Thomas G. Simons as celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Southfield, Michigan. In memory of Meghan, please consider contributions to the Reid Scholarship Fund for the education of her special niece, Serenitii VandenBerg.
