HOWARD - Melva Howard, age 85, of Comstock Park (formerly of Warren, Mi.), went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 3, 2012. Melva was preceded in death by her husband and childhood sweetheart, Bennie Howard Jr., of Warren, MI. She is survived by her beloved children, Judy (Steve) Story, of Comstock Park, Jack (Gail) Howard of Clinton Twp., Ervin (Hillary) Howard, of Warren, Joan (Frank) Dill of Sugarland, TX., ten beautiful grandchildren, 17 wonderful great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Melva grew up in West Virginia, moving to Michigan in 1954. She was a soft spoken woman who loved spending precious time with her family. Melva also enjoyed her time singing in the choir and serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Arrangements are being made through the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park. The Funeral Service will be held at Verheyden Funeral Home 28499 Schoenherr Road Warren, MI. on Monday, May 7, 2012 11:00a.m. with visitation Sunday from 3 to 9pm.
