Melvin Craig Selvig, 69, of Casnovia, passed away on Friday, July 8th, 2022. Melvin was surrounded by loved ones at the time of his passing. Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Juanita Selvig; brothers, Ronald and Terry (Mary) Selvig. Melvin is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sharon; daughters, Jennie Gee, Sara (Aaron) Armock, Cassandra Selvig and Alicia Selvig; grandchildren, Hunter, Alexa, Michael and Mikenna. He will also be missed by his siblings, Alan (Mary Lou) Selvig, Roger (Pam) Selvig, Joyce (Marty) Moore, and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Melvin was an avid outdoorsman who spent much of his time hunting and fishing. Everyone who knew Melvin knew how personable and entertaining he was. Melvin was a man that had the gift of gab, a story to tell, and was always willing to help friends and family. Melvin will be missed more than words can say. Memorial Visitation will be held at Beuschel Funeral Home (5018 Alpine Ave. NW. Comstock Park) on Friday, July 22nd from 3:00pm - 5:00pm and 6:00pm - 8:00pm with memory sharing at 6:30pm. A Celebration of Melvin's life will be held at the family's home on Saturday, July 23rd at 1:00pm, all are welcome. Service Details.
