HUMPHREY - Michael J. Humphrey, age 35, of Newaygo, formerly of Rockford, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack Humphrey, Ruth and Paul Harvey. He is survived by his loving parents, Dan and Julie Humphrey; brother, Nicholas (Theresa) Humphrey; grandma, Loretta Humphrey; nieces and nephews, Kimberly (Jake) Terry, Cody Sumner, Isabelle Humphrey, and Elizabeth Humphrey; great-niece, Journee Terry; step-children, Gabriella (Keenan) Yates, Miguel Ledesma, Emilio Ledesma; aunts and uncles. Michael had great compassion and love for everyone, he enjoyed being an uncle and mentor. He was always on a quest to have a greater understanding of life and the world around him. Michael was kind, intelligent, close to nature, helpful, loving, always pleasant, and will be so very missed. A remembrance and graveside service will be held at a later date. Service Details.
