KENT - Michael "Brady" Kent, age 32, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. He was preceded in death by grandparents, H. John and Rose Kent; cousins, Bianca Weber and Eric Goodfellow. Brady is survived by his loving parents, Mark and Jaimi Kent; siblings, Andrew Kent and Chris (Kara) Kent; grandparents, Walter and Ann Weber; godparents, Troy Kent and Jamie Wurm; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Brady was a graduate of the 2007 Class of Kent City High School. He graduated from Michigan State University with a political science degree in 2011 and also attended Cooley Law School. Brady worked for Kent Power Incorporated in Risk Management since 2006. Brady was a skilled debater of politics and an avid fan of MSU Spartan football and basketball. He had a fierce love for his extended family and friends, and was a source of encouragement and strength to many. The family will receive friends at Moss Ridge Banquet Center, 13545 Apple Ave., Ravenna from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, 12236 Heights Ravenna Rd. Ravenna, officiating Rev. Fr. Andrew Ayers as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
