TUBERGEN - Michael Winslow, age 38, passed away peacefully on the 4th of July, 2016, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born November 30, 1977 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Jim and Brenda Tubergen. Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Tubergen; grandparents, Morton and Jeannette Tubergen. He is survived by his parents, James Tubergen and Kay Feutz; siblings, Janet (Tom) Parsons, Kelly Mcdonald (Pat Ward), Andy (Nykky) Tubergen, Steve Tubergen, Bryan Carley, and Wendy Clem; several nieces and nephews including Paige and Tommy, Rhiannon, Joe, and Patrick. Mike was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and attended of Catholic Central High School. Mike was an accomplished skier who won many competitions and Nastar medals. In his free time he also enjoyed bicycling and had a gift for tinkering. Mike could fix almost anything. A celebration of life for Mike will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 2:00pm with a luncheon at St. George's Hall, 1513 Quarry Ave. NW, Grand Rapids. The family would like to thank Ashley at his AFC home for her dedicated care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington's Disease Society of America.
