ROZEMA - Mildred L. Rozema, age 89, of Comstock Park, went to be with her Lord and Savior; and to join her husband on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Rozema; sister, Arlene (Marvin) Zylstra; in-laws, Dale (Helen) Rozema and Pauline (Joe) Poelman. Mildred is survived by her beloved daughters, Kristi (Dave) Adams, Mary (Howard) Ross and Gayle (Mark) Costigan; grandchildren, Kellie, Erik, Rachel (Don), Matthew, Dylan, Megan and Chelsea; great-grandchild, Levi; siblings, Ruth (Leo) Dennis, Ann (John) Vriezema, Al (Harriett) Alberda, Karen (Ken) Paap; sister-in-law, Mary Wager; nieces and nephews. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mildred was a member of Orchard Hill Church. She enjoyed traveling and went to 49 of the 50 states. A special thank you to all the caregivers including Visiting Angels and Porter Hills Home Health Care. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Mildred will be at the Beuschel Funeral Home with Rev. Kathy Bartels, as celebrant from Orchard Hill Church at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, on Monday, May 22, 2017. Interment will be in Rosedale Memorial Cemetery following the service.
