Nevaeh was a beautiful young woman who made a positive impact on everyone she met. She was thoughtful, strong, and caring. This was not written by somebody that did not know her. Instead, it has been inspired and crafted by the many people that loved and knew her. As a recent 2023 graduate of Northview High School, she could be found in 2 places. In the halls giving good advice or most importantly, in the pool practicing through endless determination for the Northview Swim Team. She didn't want to be like everybody else. She never wanted to win the quick race. Her love was for the difficult race, The 500. This is a list of her accomplishments and things she enjoyed during her short time with us; dancing, soccer, Rachael Ray and designing her own clothes in elementary school. Sleepwalking through the woods in Girl Scout camp, Lacrosse, and mentoring the Pre-K children during her Junior and Senior year. Listening to Mac Miller, spending time with her niece and nephew, Tillian and Jay and helping her brother Caleb with his daily tasks. Making memories with her countless friends, waiting tables at Cinco De Mayo in downtown Grand Rapids and inspiring all of us with her funny laugh and her encouraging words. We are gratefully overwhelmed by the social media posts, especially from her peers. Friends in particular get a different version of our children, than we as parents do. Being able to see Nevaeh through their eyes has been incredibly powerful for us. God has been gracious to our family during this time with an incredible gentleness as he carries us through this difficult time. We pray for all of her friends that have been impacted by this. Our hope is that they will hold on to her laughter and memories with no regrets, because one of Nevaeh's favorite sayings was, "Love Harder." We can all agree that Nevaeh left us too soon. However, we can all agree that the impact she left on us will last a lifetime. This is not a typical because her real has already been written by the countless loving posts made by her friends and peers on social media. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, 2:00 pm at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Ave NW, Comstock Park, MI. Friends and relatives may meet the family before the funeral on Friday at the funeral home for a visitation from 12:00 - 2:00 pm. A private family interment will follow at Alpine Center Cemetery.
