SCHWARTZ - Orville J. Schwartz, age 95, of Sparta, went to his Lord and Savior, on Monday, May 13, 2013. Orville's heartache and longing these last two months is over, for he is joined in heaven with wife Maxene of 70 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxene; son, Quentin; brother, Harold Schwartz; brothers in-law, E.M. Weston and Norman Beuschel; sister in-law, Helen Schwartz; nephews, Ronald Schwartz, Paul and Gregory Beuschel. Orville is survived by sister, Unabelle Weston; nephews, Gary (Margaret) Schwartz, Tom (Gayle) Beuschel; nieces, Penny/Pam Goetcheus, Janice Beuschel and Marie (Tom) Zykowski; great nephews, Don and Eric Goetcheus, Brent (Erin) and Ryan Beuschel, Todd and Craig Schwartz, Sam and Jack Zykowski; great nieces, Kelly Moffit, Shelby Beuschel; great great nephews, Grant and Max Goetcheus; great great nieces, Emma and Megan Goetcheus, Mariah and Ellie Beuschel; sister in-law, Teresa Beuschel; and several dear friends. Orville was very proud to live most of his entire life on the family homestead. He was very particular maintaining his lawn, trees, and family home. Orville retired from fruit farming, but enjoyed seeing and hearing about the advance technology of the fruit industry today. He looked forward to his winters on Marco Island and made several life time friends, whom he still kept in contact with. Orville was a devoted and loyal fan to the Detroit Tigers for years, he also followed the stock market daily. He will be missed by many, especially his family who went to him for his vast knowledge and wisdom. The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Bryan Schneider-Thomas officiating.
