Owen Matthew Guiles, age 4, of Comstock Park, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.  He was born August 13, 2021, in Grand Rapids, MI to Ian and Shayna (Duncan) Guiles.  Owen enjoyed Mickey Mouse, Spider Man, tractors, riding the bus to school each day, being outside, and playing with his siblings.  He loved music and was looking forward to learning how to play the guitar that he had just gotten at Christmas.

Survivors include his parents, Ian and Shayna Guiles; sisters, Adalyn and Lileigh Guiles; brother, Aidan Guiles; maternal grandma, Tonya Voakes (fiance, Gary Raymond); paternal grandparents, Darlene (Hadj) Hammar and Tim (Deborah) Guiles; paternal great-grandma, Muriel Amos; paternal great-grandpa, Pasquale Pagano; uncles, Matthew Duncan, Justin Guiles, Brian Osborne, and Arron (Jillian) Osborne; and many great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.

Owen was greeted into heaven by his grandpas, Matthew Duncan and Kenneth Voakes.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 11:00am until Noon, at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321, with a funeral service at 12:00pm (Noon) with Rev. Sean Kidd officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan or Food Hugs .
