ELDER - Patricia L. Elder, age 79, of Grand Rapids, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 11, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Vivian Sims; brother, Sonny Sims and sister, Juanita Porter. Patricia is survived by her beloved children, Richard Keller, Dawn Keller, Juanita Keller, and Mark Keller; loving grandchildren, precious great grandchildren; sisters, Ann (Joe) Sharpe, Brenda Peace and Marva Willis; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was employed with General Motors for 42 years. Patricia enjoyed the time she shared with her children and grandchildren, and loved them with all of her heart. She was a member of Light House Full Life Center Church. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. The service of praise and worship will be celebrated on Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Beuschel Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m, with visitation one hour prior to the service, with Pastor Rosemary Davis as celebrant. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery 2530 Kalamazoo Avenue S.E., Grand Rapids.
